WE ARE ALL EQUAL

Image
WE ARE ALL EQUAL International Women's Month is observed throughout the month of March. It is a celebration to recognize women's accomplishments and to discuss ongoing and developing women's empowerment and gender equality topics, concerns, challenges, and commitments, as well as for wome n to achieve the equality and respect they require, just as they do for men. They are also commemorating this month to demonstrate how significant women are in our society and how powerful they are. As a woman, I have faced or witnessed many inequalities in my life, as well as discrimination that what men do is preferable to what women do. While legal equality in the workplace is a reality in many nations, genuine equality between men and women remains a long way off. In this sense, change is gradual, much like applying for jobs, because in real life, leaders in all fields refuse to admit women because others believe they cannot afford to work, in other words women's jobs generally...

APPRECIATING OUR COMMUNITY

Image
Appreciating our Community      Since our topic today is community-based research, which means getting to know our community or the place where we sleep or build our house, I learnt a lot this quarter. We were given tasks to identify or research our community, which was beneficial to me because, despite the fact that I grew up here and continue to live here, I will acknowledge and admit that I still know very little about our town.  I also learned a lot about our place's history through the tasks we were given, such as how our community got its name, if it was conquered by the Spaniards, what happened here in ancient times, what are the religious beliefs, food products, places to visit, the history of barangays and sitios, and much more. Also as a result of doing so, I developed a fascination or interest in learning more about what is important to know in our area, which has aided me in conducting this research appropriately, pleasantly, and with love i...

GO, GET YOUR VACCINES NOW!!!

GO, GET YOUR VACCINES NOW!!! COVID-19 vaccinations have already reached billions of individuals around the world, and the evidence is overwhelming that they provide life-saving protection against a disease that has killed millions. They are our greatest option for staying safe as the pandemic continues. But what exactly is the COVID-19 Vaccination and how does it help with virus prevention? According to Google, the WHO has approved many COVID-19 vaccines for use (given Emergency Use Listing). The first mass vaccination programmed started in early December 2020 and the number of vaccination doses administered is updated on a daily basis on the COVID-19 DASHBOARD . ; the following vaccines are the pfizer, moderna and more. But, given what I've said, what effect will Covid Vaccines have on children and teenagers? Children are becoming increasingly ill over the world, but because of their poor health and lack of access to health care, the most vulnerable children are the on...

SINCERE GRATITUDE FOR  WHAT OUR HEROES HAVE ACHIEVED The Day of Valor, officially known as Araw ng Kagitingan, is a Philippine national holiday commemorating the fall of Bataan to Japanese forces during World War II. It is observed on April 9 each year, though it was moved to April 6 in 2009 to avoid clashing with Maundy Thursday. Prior to the 2000s, the celebration was known as Bataan Day because of Bataan's importance in World War II. The holiday is observed in Maywood, Illinois, in the United States, where it is known by its previous name.      But why is it important to commemorate it? Because it is not only a commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan, but also a remembrance of the Filipinos' courage in fighting and giving their lives for the country, even though the country's defense "collapsed" in Corregidor, Bataan, on April 9, 1942. This occurred during WWII, when Japan sought to occupy America's allies, including the Philippines. To prevent Japanese soldi...
