QUALITY EDUCATION DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

QUALITY EDUCATION DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Greetings, my dear readers! I'm a Grade 10 student, and I'll tell you about my experience as a student in the midst of the pandemic and I will also share here the quality education as a student in the midst of the pandemic. In my experience, it is difficult for me; I have to purchase load every week in order to search the internet because I occasionally do not understand what is said in the module and to join in online classes. I need to prepare myself to study and comprehend the material in the module so that I have something to respond to. I'm a slow learner, and I'll admit that I can't perform or do a task if I don't know how to do it. I still need to ask a classmate via chat before I can begin answering. There are so-called online lessons, but I can't guarantee that I always grasp what is being taught because my teacher lags from time to time due to my internet connection.

Google defines an online class as "a blend of video recordings and live lectures, as well as course reading and assessments." Students collect reading materials, engage with teachers and classmates, examine grades, and track progress through a virtual portal. This necessitates a stable internet connection as well as devices to facilitate virtual classes. Does this, however, apply to all students? No, because it is out of reach for the majority of students. This is yet another issue that all of us must deal with.

I'm going to tell you about an event I had in an online class. We were studying a subject that I was struggling with, and I just started crying because I didn't understand and couldn't answer the questions. I noticed myself crying while staring at my laptop, and I wondered what if after I graduate from high school the face-to-face classes are not back to normal? How am I going to make it through this? So, as you can see, our students' situation today is really difficult since, even with online lessons, I still can't understand the lesson, whereas in face-to-face classes, I am able to learn more easily because our teachers are able to teach because nothing hinders them from doing so, because like I said, I'm not as smart and talented as other students who understand everything in the module.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone had problems with schooling, but all students are still studying for their dreams, and all of our teachers are still teaching, therefore I admire my fellow students who are still pursuing their dreams, and teachers who continue to teach us. Thank you for being with us.
